I am honored and humbled that you have found your way here and are considering whether to invite me to photograph your wedding or your family. Weddings are incredible celebrations (AKA the BEST parties), securing the foundation of a beautiful existence – love, laughter, and being together. Weddings are usually mentioned as your BIG DAY but really, they are the BIG beginning of a new life together and the start of a new family.
First I am artist, and having this foundation of composition and space, and a passion for wanting to make things beautiful–gives me a unique stance as a photographer. I graduated from college in 2006 where I obtained a Bachelors of Fine Arts from Clarke University. I have worked as a Graphic Designer and a marketer here in the city of Chicago since then. I started this company in 2010 after observing the wedding photographer space and realizing I could do it, but I could do it with my own spin on things. I had something that I wanted to show the world. I did an apprenticeship with Allori Photography (shout out to Eric O’Connor!) And was second shooting for weddings and learning the business ropes not only of what to do, but what not to do. I booked my first solo wedding in 2011 and have been doing this ever since.
Photography, to me, is one of the most amazing art forms that exists. Anyone can take a photo, but to also tell a story, to command emotion that transcends, that connects… therein lies the mastery of the art of unfailing photography.
I understand the importance of impeccably capturing the essence of your sacred wedding day, into which you've put so much time and effort. I planned my own wedding, and every detail was given my thought and care and I wanted others to see and appreciate my hard work. If you want your photos to tell a story, to reflect the dynamic love of your unique relationship, you've come to the right place.
After the rings are on, and the curls have gone flat, and the booze has dripped dry, ...your photos will be the one thing you can hold on to forever. Let me know how I can help you tell your story, I can’t wait to hear from you!
